Great Crested Newt
Gloucestershire Biodiversity Partnership's project, 'No Newts is Bad Newts', is going from strength to strength, and will continue to run until the end of autumn 2010. This project implements the local Species Action Plan (SAP) for the great crested newt, a national priority BAP species, through working with local communities to enhance large areas of land for their benefit and future conservation.

Coastal and Floodplain Grazing Marsh

The Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust's Severn Vale Living Landscape Project aims to restore a rich variety of wildlife and supporting habitat to the floodplain of the Severn Vale as it passes through Gloucestershire.

Working with Partners, farmers and landowners the Project Officers are targeting land around existing hotspots (as defined by the Gloucestershire Nature Map) to encourage it to spread out into the wider countryside.

The Cotswold Water Park (CWP) Water Vole Recovery Programme
